To get the most out of your jewels, please:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfume and other chemicals. Although our pieces are made to last, they can loose their shine over time.
  • Take jewelry off when showering, exercising, cleaning, etc.
  • Use soft cloth to polish and store in jewelry pouch. Our branded pouch is perfect for storing your jewels.  *Available for purchase*

GOLD PLATED

Gold Plated jewelry is a very light layer of gold - 0.05% real gold or less that is on top of a base metal ( usually brass or copper ). The thin layer of gold is plated onto the base metal to create gold plated jewelry.

Since the gold plating is very thin, the gold can rub off easily and it is also more prone to tarnishing when exposed to any kinds of liquids or chemicals.

GOLD FILLED

Gold filled is a solid layer of real gold mechanically bonded to a base (usually jeweler's brass). The layer of gold consists of 1/20th of the jewelry's total weight. The gold is usually 14k gold, but can also be 12k gold.

Since the gold is mechanically bonded to a base rather than plated, it can't rub off. It has the same qualities as solid gold jewelry at a fraction of the cost.
